Meet the Owner

Larry K. Hill was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio. He graduated from Southeastern High School and obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Professional positions held include budget director for a fortune 500 company in Chicago, senior vice president and secretary for a national insurance company and owner of Express Employment Professionals with offices in Springfield and Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to his civic responsibilities, Larry is an Elder of The First Presbyterian Church in South Charleston, Ohio. He has taught Sunday School at his church for the past 32 years. He and his wife Barbara have been married for 43 years and have a daughter Erin, who teaches English at The Bronx Academy of Arts & Letters in New York City.

Kristina L. Downing, SPHR, joined Express Employment Professionals 15 years ago as an account representative, consulting with hundreds of small and large employers on issues such as workforce development, recruiting, regulatory compliance, skills assessment and utilization, compensation and other workforce issues.

She received her B.S.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Denver. She earned her SPHR in 1999. She is a frequent speaker at colleges, civic groups and companies on subjects such as professionalism in the workplace, employer expectations and leadership developments.
